Most commenters are not shedding light on the issue, but on themselves. I’d like to mention that obvious point that the use of profanity reduces the seriousness of the source and, thus, the strength of one’s argument.

My intent in using this site is to do a phrase by phrase analysis of this film. When it first came out it was available on the net. Now it is not, Al doesn’t want to lose any money, and that I fear is his real motivation here.

This movie however, should not be called a documentary, it should be called a sales pitch.

I have done a great deal of research into the topic of Climate Change. Climate Change is a more accurate description as the earth is always cooling and warming. I have found that Al has mislead on many instances throughout the film and it some cases has made complete falsehoods. As a for instance in the film he claims “When the snow falls it traps little bubbles of atmosphere. They can go in and measure how much CO2 was in the atmosphere the year that snow fell.” The problem here is that the air is not trapped until some time later. There is great difficulty in getting the two scales of temperature and CO2 to match.

My other problem is that he often diverts from the real message my injecting things that have nothing to do with climate change. Talking about the children and how their world will be different. No kidding!! You really think so? DUHHH!!!! The world is constantly changing, nothing stays the same. And his little jabs at politics!! No place in a documentary. This film is filled with more political opinion than fact. And try to find where his scientific references are. Good luck.
