Condoleezza Rice Apoligizes To Obama Over Passport Breach
In a morning presser with reporters, Condoleezza Rice said she personally called Barack Obama to apologize over the breach of his passport file. Rice, who is the United States Secretary of State, said she is “very concerned over this”, and that there will be a full investigation.
In 3 seperate instances, 3 State Department employees improperly accessed electronic personal data of Obama. The breaches took place January 9th, February 21st and March 14th. Two employees have been fired, the employee who accessed the records on March 14th has not as of yet. Obama, and his campaign, did not find out of the breach until yesterday.
Bill Burton, a spokesman for the Obama campaign, said this Friday: “This is an outrageous breach of security and privacy, even from an administration that has shown little regard for either over the last eight year.”
